JACKSONS POINT

Public BBQ

Jacksons Point sits at the end of a dirt road with spectacular panoramic views over Hume Dam and the surrounding countryside. The location feels like you're gazing across an endless sea, particularly striking when the weir reaches near-capacity levels. A strategically placed seat on the point provides the perfect vantage for taking in the sweeping vista. The facilities are well-maintained with clean toilets and barbecue equipment, making it an excellent family destination for day use, though camping isn't permitted. Deep water along the bank attracts fishing enthusiasts, while the quiet, peaceful atmosphere makes it ideal for relaxation. Access can be challenging during certain periods when vehicle entry is restricted, but cyclists and walkers can still reach this secluded spot. The location also offers sailing opportunities when water levels permit.
